HİDROMEK, one of the renowned construction machinery manufacturers in the world, was established in Ankara in 1978. Its founder, Hasan Basri Bozkurt, initially started with the production of attachments for agricultural tractors.

This endeavor took a step further in the following years, leading to the production of the first construction machinery designed by Turkish engineers. With the expansion of its product range, HİDROMEK has grown, currently employing nearly 2,200 employees. Additionally, it operates six production facilities, four in Ankara, one in Izmir, and one in Thailand, where it manufactures backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators, wheeled loaders, motor graders, and soil compactors.

The construction of HİDROMEK Production Base, spanning over 1,400 acres in the Ankara Chamber of Industry 1st Organized Industrial Zone, is ongoing. The base already houses the component factory, which primarily manufactures key components such as transmissions, axles, hydraulic reducers, and hydraulic cylinders, that were previously imported.

HİDROMEK, whose machines operate in more than 100 countries across six continents, has established HİDROMEK WEST in Spain, HİDROMEK RUS in Russia, HİDROMEK HCE in Thailand, and HİDROMEK JAPAN in Japan to manage authorized dealerships, sales, and after-sales services abroad.

Setting itself apart in construction machinery design, HİDROMEK has been recognized with numerous awards. Currently, HİDROMEK holds a total of 32 design awards, esteemed at the international level.

As the only Turkish construction machinery manufacturer listed in the international 'Yellow Table' compiled by the KHL Group, a press organization that provides information and sets standards for the industry worldwide, HİDROMEK has secured its place. It appeared on the 'Yellow Table 2021' list for the 8th time. Moreover, HİDROMEK has been the market leader in Turkey for 11 consecutive years in sales of backhoe loaders, 8 years in hydraulic excavators, and 2 years in motor graders, according to the data released by İMDER (Turkish Construction Machinery Distributors and Manufacturers Association) for the period of 2009-2019.
