Metal band saw EXTEND 700.520 is a powerful hydraulic semiautomatic machine of two-column construction designed for series and highly productive cutting of material under 90° angle.

Low-vibration saw cuts mean precision and long life. Polymer concrete offers the ideal damping characteristics for use in saw machines.

On all Extend machines, the support, saw frames and columns are filled with a specially developed polymer concrete mixture.

Coupled with pre-stressed, play-free, generously dimensioned linear guides, polymer concrete technology provides virtually vibration-free saw cuts with high cutting performance far above 100 cm² per minute with M42 bimetal saw bands.

The ideal slope setting of the saw frame to the horizontal clamping surface depends on the shape of the material, and on the designated sawing process. The Extend series’ machine design allows this parameter to be set individually.

Machine allows to clamp and cut bundles of material with hydraulic bundle clamping device (see optional accessories) also.

The machine is by default equipped with automatic cutting pressure regulation that together with 41 mm saw band ensures exact and straight cut. Frame diving into the cut is performed by linear roller bearing.

The machine enables cuts of short scrap length. Peripheral speed of the saw band is regulated from the control panel by frequency converter in the range of 15-90 m/min.

• Handling System X/XP: The new X/XP handling system offers unprecedented flexibility for tailoring a handling system to individual needs and conditions. Load capacities and automation levels can be adjusted with perfect flexibility and modified at a later time. Besides the roll conveyor in a regular and propelled version, the X system comprises a rich array of options, from vertical rollers, to length measuring systems all the way to cross conveyor units and shifting devices. The load capacity can be customized by the number of rollers and support feet used. The roll conveyor's feed profile even allows varying roller and foot distances on the same roll conveyor unit. When needed, additional rollers and/or support feet can be installed at any time.

1. Saw band tension indicator: The saw band tension indicator provides permanent control of the band tension, even during the machine operation.
2. Micro-spray-system: For ideal cutting of pipes and profiles, the micro-spray unit applies a grease film on the teeth points and lateral sides of the saw band.
3. Hydraulic bundle clamping device: Device for clamping materials in layers and bundles with the use of an additional vertical clamping unit.
4. Downfeed speed readout: Allows easy and accurate reading of the current rate of descent of the machine arm into the cut.
5. Additional vice: Divided clamping device with hardened inlays and a full-lift cylinder for tensioning before and after the saw blade.
6. Laser liner: The laser unit copies the exact line in the saw band axis to the material. Laser Liner allows precise adjustment of the marked material.
7. Workspace lighting: A LED lamp for lighting the workspace, adjustable and mounted on the flexible arm.
8. Third coolant supply: The third coolant supply is used for extra wide materials. The coolant supply is flexible and may be individually adjusted to the material shape.
9. Tenzomat: A precise measuring tool for the control of the saw band tension when a new band is installed.
10. Pistol for machine cleaning: Tool for fast and easy cleaning of the machine from chips and burrs.
11. Swarf removal system: Swarf extractor with grabs for an integrated system of collection in Proline machines. The saw is prepared for the chip remover installation, which may be Plug-and-Play connected.
