Slag and dross stands no chance against the brute force of EdgeBreaker® 5000 MAX! Slag is by-product cause during plasma and flame (oxyfuel cutting). The machine removes slag by chipping it off via deslagging pins (slag hammers). Slag can be removed either from just the bottom side or the top side as well. Double-sided and in a single process. Thus, saving you valuable time and money when compared to a conventional deburring machine that uses traditional grinding media. It completes the processing of plasma and flame (oxyfuel) cut parts and reduces costs for subsequent edge rounding.

No turning over of heavy plasma and flame cut parts

The EdgeBreaker® 5000 MAX removes the slag where it is produced: on the underside of the materials. In contrast to manual processing of heavy plate, it is therefore not necessary to turn over any heavy parts, thus avoiding injuries! Mechanical slag removal therefore reduces the strain on employees and increases work safety. If required, the slag can also be removed from top side as well. All in just a single pass.
